Ivanovic, Jankovic to meet in round 3
Ana reached the third round of the Australian Open in Melbourne thanks to a 7-5, 1-6, 6-4 victory over Yung-Jan Chan of Taipei. Ana struggled through out the match and the Serbian saved three set points at 5-4 before clinch the first set where she had a 3-0 lead. After losing the shaky second set, former French Open champion battled to win the decider by 6-4. The Serbian will meet fellow former world number one Jelena Jankovic of Serbia in the third round. Jankovic also struggled in her second round match against Portugal's Maria Joao Koheler. Jankovic scored a 2-6,7-6,6-2 win against the Portuguese qualifier. Jankovic and Ivanovic last met on a grand slam back in 2008 French Open, where Ivanovic won in three sets. Ivanovic leads the head to head 7-3.
