Canada's Eugenie Bouchard became the first Canadian to reach a Grand Slam quarterfinal since Patricia Hy-Boulais at the 1992 US Open beating Australia's last hope Casey Dellacqua. Bouchard came back from a set down to take the Australian wild card 6-7,6-2,6-0.
