Sharapova wins Indian Wells

Maria Sharapova has won the BNP Paribas Open for a second time after romping her way to a 6-2 6-2 victory over Caroline Wozniacki. The victory, worth $1 million, gave Sharapova at least one title for 11 straight years dating to 2003. Wozniacki struggled with Sharapova's serve, winning just 3 of 22 points on the Russian's first serve while Sharapova was dominating all over the court with 33 winners. It's Sharapova's second Indian Wells title.
