Serena Williams extended her career-best winning streak to 28 matches by beating No. 15-seeded Roberta Vinci 6-1, 6-3 to reach quarter finals of 2013 French Open. Williams was tested in set number two though the American was still too good for the Italian. Serena will take on two time grand slam champion Svetlana Kuznetosva in the next round. Svetlana Kuznetsova has booked her spot in the quarter finals of the French Open courtesy of a 6-4 4-6 6-3 victory over Angelique Kerber.
