Sorana Cirstea of Romania beat American Sloane Stephens in the opening round to start 2013 Dubai Duty Free Tennis championship. Cirstea came back from a set down to clinch the match 5-7,6-3,6-2. France's Marion Bartoli also cam back from a set down to beat Klara Zakapolova, who had 6-3,4-3 lead. Bartoli eventually won 3-6,6-4,6-1. Bartoli will face new World No.1 Serena Williams in the next round.
