runner up Marion Bartoli in the fourth round of US Open. Kvitova, the US
Open series winner was knocked out by the French women in three sets
1-6,6-2,6-0. Bartoli will face the reigning French Open champion Maria
Sharapova, who beat Nadia Petrova 6-1,4-6,6-4 in an all Russian fourth
round battle
