Ana Ivanovic and Kim Clijsters are playing their first Olympics but one of them has to put an end to the very first Olympic campaign as they meet in a third round encounter. Both Clijsters and Ivanovic won their second round matches in straight sets, Clijsters beating Carla Suarez Navarro 6-3,6-3 and Ivanovic beating home favourite Elena Baltacha 6-4,7-6
