Seven
time grand slam champion Venus Williams of the US was exited in the
first round of the French Open by Poland's Urzula Radwanska after a
three hours and 20 minutes epic match. Radwanska beat the American
7-6(5), 6-7,(4), 6-4. The younger sister of Agnieszka will play German
qualifier Dinah Pfizenmaier in the next round. Biggest upset of the
tournament so far came when Puerto Rico’s Monica Puig upset world number
11 Nadia Petrova of Russia 6-3, 5-7, 4-6
